Cool place for bar hopping with great music and less crowd. Highlight of the place are those dollar bills stuck on the walls, ceiling and pillars of the bar.

Love this place. Bartender was great, had good food. We were at tattooed mom, terrible bartenders and they got our drinks wrong multiple times. Do yourself a favor and just go here.

My first time and the bar tender Carly was absolutely so nice. The quesadillas was good and margaritas from Carly was amazing

I can't understand how anyone likes this place. It was very disappointing. The service is bad the food was worse and the restaurant itself needs a total makeover Avoid it

As far as the food goes, you have to know what to order here. Junk food is great but beware of the platters which are largely tasteless except for the grilled salmon or tuna salad special which is incredible for $10. Food prices take you back to a more reasonable time with the mountainous chicken nacho offering at a mere $6.95. Don't go if you want a quiet place to eat and meditate. Manny's can be quite noisy. Live music on Saturday night.

I started coming here when I was in the neighborhood, even though I don't live here anymore I still stop by whenever I can. Good food, great deink specials, and fun staff.

My husband introduced me to this spot 3 yeara ago. And i enjoy it the food and atmosphere is great we even bring our kids here for lunch or dinner.

Decent dive bar, ordered a chicken parm but it was definitely frozen chicken patty. Ok, but a bit rubbery. Service was decent, waitress was pleasant. I'd go back for drinks, but pass on the food

I ordered nachos not realizing they came with meat and when it came out I asked for it to be sent it back immediately as I don’t eat meat. She still and me pay for it even tho I didn’t even touch it or order anything else.

Went in around 330 with co-workers. Got a long island and it was delicious! The waitress/ bartender was pulling double duty and still provided great service.

Friendly staff and cozy ambience. Manny nachos were good, too!

The writing on the doors really gives this place a unique perspective.

Came here while we were doing the hop on hop off bus tour. Nice atmosphere and not too crowded. It has been hot lately in this area so it was great to escape the heat and have a beer, maybe a few beers. They have some TVs in the bar and the service was great by this female bartender I forgot her name but they have a big selection of beers and cocktails as well. I came in around 2pm so it was perfect, not a big fan of crowded places. Food was decent too we got a spinach artichoke dip and a side of fries.

I was lucky enough to pass by this place when the Eagles were playing. They’re specials were great. $3 shots, $0.50 wings, and buckets of beers for $15 if I’m not mistaken. The atmosphere during the game was awesome. A great bar overall.

Nice atmosphere, very pleasant staff and an excellent beer selection. Grab a table by the big front window and people watch on South Street. That makes for a perfect lazy afternoon. Did I mention they awesome beer selection?

I started to come to this bar by myself and then I told my wife how great it was and that they have really gooooood French fries so we started to come more often.My friends from work asked me about a nice place on South St to have some drinks and good food so I told them that Manny Brown's was yhe place.Now me, my wife, and also my best friends have a good reason to go there and enjoy a good beer with the best "bar fries" ever ;)

Loved it. Stumble upon it walking on South Street. Didn't expect much as it seemed like it might just be bar food from the outside, but the beer selection and the house made food was was really quite excellent. The cheese steak egg rolls were great. Service was also great!

One good thing to come from current situation with the virus is that some places will close and some need to do so. Bartender was nice and friendly, place itself was ok except all the $1 dollar bills hanging up on walls/ceiling makes it feel grubby being that money is inherently dirty. Went at a time it wasn't busy however another customer came in stinking of marijuana at which point we left. This place is the definition of a dive bar.

This is could possibly be the best priced food and alcohol on South st. My friend and I got food and 3 beers each.. total was $42. Unreal.... But quality was B+. Loved the atmosphere but I personally wouldn't come for dinner. It's great if youre looking for a little snack.

I love this place. There is a great beer selection, solid food and always great bartenders. One of my favorite things to do when I'm in that part of Philly is to people watch from Manny Browns!

Really friendly place. Great bartender who had come from New Orleans. Surprisingly good selection of vegetarian options on the menu. They had two different types of veggie burgers- that's rare.

Karlie was absolutely AMAZING!!!! Hands down the best service I have received in a long time. I came all the way from NC to celebrate my cousin’s birthday and she was great at recommending drinks and took great care of us. I will surely be back!

Stopped by here last Monday and had an awesome experience. Meghan my bartender was my favorite bartender ever, so down to earth and fun to talk to! Atmosphere was awesome, signed a dollar and left my mark! It was a wonderful Monday afternoon to say the least
